ASTOP, Inc.
ASTOP of Fond du Lac helps rebuild worlds…the worlds of those people whose lives are shattered by the ugliness of sexual assault. We offer at no cost to survivors and affected family members, emotional security, comfort and safety through direct services and medical and legal advocacy. Through our prevention education program, Protective Behaviors, we are working toward creating an environment free from sexual violence. http://www.astop.org

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County
Funds received are used in the Ripon community to support one-to-one mentoring services to children facing adversity in the Ripon area. Ten Ripon area children are currently matched with a mentor with four more on the waiting list. http://bbbsfdl.org

Bay Lakes Council, Boy Scouts of America

To instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them leadership skills and ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law. http://www.baylakesbsa.org

Discovery Preschool
Discovery Preschool provides 50 children from the Ripon area with an art-based, hands-on curriculum using Wisconsin Early Childhood learning standards. This year, Discovery Preschool will offer a program for 2-1/2 year old children, the first available in the Ripon area. Family Resource Center

The Family Resource Center of Fond du Lac County, Inc. is dedicated to the healthy development of children and families through a variety of pregnancy and parenting programs. Services include the teen parent panel at Ripon High Schook, infant massage and parenting classes at Ripon Medical Center, Interactive parent/child activities and child development screenings at Barlow Park Elementary School, and other resources and referrals. Grace Pre-School

Grace Pre-School is a non-profit, non-denominational, Christian school for children from three to five years of age. The mission of Grace Pre-School is to provide children and their families with a quality educational experience in a nurturing, faith-based environment. The goals of Grace Pre-School are to help three, four, and five year olds develop a positive self-image and to gain social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth through age-appropriate activities. The positive experiences students have at Grace Pre-School will prepare them for kindergarten and set the stage for future years of schooling. http://www.gracepreschoolripon.org



Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County

United Way funds will be used to help build the Habitat home under construction in Ripon.  Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Ripon Area Vacation Bible School

The Ripon Area Vacation Bible School is an ecumenical effort of five area churches: Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hillside Assembly of God, Immanuel United Methodist Church, Our Saviour’s Untied Church of Christ, and St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Age appropriate programs for preschool children, elementary children, and middle school children are provided in mid-August for one week.

Ripon Childrens Learning Center

The Ripon Children's Learning Center is a community based non-profit organization which provides child care and education opportunities to children from 6 weeks through 12 years old.  Located in Ripon Wisconsin, the Ripon Children's Learning Center has served the needs of children, families and the community for almost 17 years. http://www.rclc.info

Ripon Community Thrift Store and Food Pantry

Our mission is to feed the hungry and help those in need. Our dream is to ensure that no person in the Ripon area goes without food or clothing. The Community Thrift Store and Food Pantry provides groceries to families in need. We collect gently-used items to be sold in the Thrift Store. Items sold in the store cover operating expenses as well as the purchase of food for the Food Pantry. We are confident that God will lead us in fulfilling our mission through the generosity of donors and volunteers. Solutions Center Shelter and Support Services

To restore hope to those oppressed by poverty and violence – through empowerment, confidential supportive services, and a safe haven. United Way funding will be used to support shelter, therapy, advocacy and education in the Ripon area. 130 Ripon area residents are served by the Solutions Center annually, including an average of 300 nights of shelter care. http://www.solutionsfdl.com

Ripon Reads!

Ripon Reads works in partnership Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library foundation to encourage a love of reading in young children. Each month Ripon Reads mails an age-appropriate book to the home of young children under 5 years old and helps equip parents to model and encourage reading in their home.
